Wow over 600 Beautiful cars nice weather “The Spirit PONTIAC” was in St Charles.

One of the best shows I have attended. Great job from the KC Arrowhead Chapter.

Spot on execution as usual. The Saturday night parking lot party band was awesome again!

A very special thank you to Crusin Tigers and the Indian Uprisings event staff. A first class show. Run very, very well.
I would personally like to thank you for keeping Pontiac in the hearts and minds of so many people.

Awesome and WONDERFUL show, hospitality and comradely. The show is ALWAYS top notch and you provide, to the car enthusiasts, an opportunity to share their love. THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK. KNOW WE DO APPRECIATE ALL YOU DO!!

A special message from The Cruisin’ Tigers GTO Club:

If you were there, it was magic. It was Pontiac paradise. The Indian Uprising has turned into an event that people need in our hobby. By design, the egos are left at the door, we eliminate all but two classes and the show turns out to be about celebrating the hobby and making friends. We welcome all cars from the driving restoration to the 100 point judged car. Its about the fellowship we all have and the collaboration to keep the Pontiac name strong.

There wasn’t enough time to see all 622 Pontiacs on the show grounds in a weekend. From our sponsors, our special guests, our children’s charities, other financial supports and our show volunteers and our guests on the show field, we need to send all of you a very heart felt thank you. With out all of you, this simply doesn’t happen.

There are hundreds of images from the 2017 show below. The names of contributors are way too long to list. So thank you to the many people that sent pictures. Thank you for the collaborative effort to documenting this awesome show on “film”.

The 2018 Indian Uprising All Pontiac Weekend is already in planning mode.

Scenes from the show field and the indoor arena – The show field was at full capacity and the sold-out arena was full with 104 cars

The 40th Anniversary Can Am Reunion. 24 Can Ams parked at one time. You just had to be there to feel how special this was.

The 40th Anniversary of Smokey and The Bandit. How do you celebrate one of the best car movies of all time and not have Snowman or Buford?

From our show staff to the charities that were on board all weekend to our guests, its the Pontiac passion that runs deep and keeps this event growing each and every year. Thank you to the thousands of people that were on the grounds at Pheasant Run to support The Indian Uprising and our childrens charities.

The Saturday night Mega Cruise – In. This is when we open up the show grounds and party with all makes and models. For its fifth year, over 800 cruisers came out and maxed out Pheasant Run. The New Invaders were simply amazing. And yes, Pontiac’s can co-mingle withe Chevy’s, Mopar’s and Ford’s.

So now what? How do we move forward into 2018? We’ve got ya covered. Want to help with show planning? We need help! Our planning committee puts this show together and we need more people to make it hum. You don’t have to be a Cruisin’ Tiger to be a committee member. Please Contact Us and we’ll get ya involved!! We area fun group that loves to meet new friends.

New this year! Go out for dinner and come back for a Friday night movie and popcorn on the big screen at The Indian Uprising. And we couldn’t pick a better year to start a new tradition.

Where: The Pheasant Run Mega Center Indoor Arena

Time: 7:00

Admission: Free. Open only to show participants and their family’s that have a paid registered car.

Feature: Full length Smokey and The Bandit

You’d like to get a picture of your car with one of these cars right? Here’s your chance.

Never seen before in the midwest.

A very special thank you to Martin Bevis from North Carolina. Martin has painstakingly reproduced the exact police car that Sheriff Buford T. Justice drove under the trailer in Smokey and the Bandit. This is a great fit for our special anniversary celebration – 40 Years of The Bandit feature car.

Snowman makes an appearance at The Indian Uprising! Well, not actually Jerry Reed, we all know he’s passed on, but Tyler Hambrick has recreated the exact Kenworth rig that was used in the movie. Since we are celebrating 40 years of one our favorite movies, you bet this truck will be at the show!! How do you celebrate Smokey and The Bandit without Snowman?

The Fifth Annual MEGA CRUISE-IN

At 4:00 on Saturday we open up the show grounds to all makes and models and The New Invaders will be back again to pound the pavement. This is a huge once a year cruise-in at a super nice resort with lots of food and live music you don’t want to miss!!

Free admission!!

Last year we had over 600 cars on the ground.
Can we beat that for 2017?

Official Indian Uprising Illinois Licence Plate

These specialty plates are authorized by the State of IL to display on your car throughout the summer cruising season. After 10 years of producing them for our shows, they have become collector’s items. Only 100 are available and they sell out fast! They are available for sale to Non-IL residents. Proceeds from the sale of these plates benefit our children’s charities.

Two new safety provisions that must be followed for 2017:

  1. Tents on the show field are now permitted. They MUST be weighted down on all four corners.
  2. When parking in the Arena, you must disconnect your battery. It is strongly encouraged that you bring your car into the building with approximately 1/4 tank of gas.
